About Us
Built by and for the disc golf community
Parkdly was founded by Lauri Alasaukko-oja and Janne Rantanen — two tech entrepreneurs and long-time disc golf advocates.
They are also the founders of Frisbeegolfmedia, Finland's largest disc golf media outlet, and have played an active role in major events like the European Open and the 2025 PDGA Disc Golf World Championships.
From a simple idea to a shared mission
The idea for Parkdly came from a clear problem: creating tee signs and course maps is time-consuming and complicated.
Yet, these signs are the face of every course — the first impression players get and one of the most important parts of the overall experience.
That's why we created Parkdly: to make it easy for course designers, tournament organizers, and clubs to produce professional-quality signage and maps in minutes — not weeks.
The name Parkdly comes from the disc golf term "parked" — a nearly perfect throw that lands right next to the basket. Our goal is to bring that same feeling of precision and satisfaction to course design.
Our mission
We want to help people build more courses — and raise the quality of existing ones.
Our mission is simple: to elevate the disc golf experience by empowering the community with better tools for design, presentation, and course management.
Built together with the community
Our goal is to develop Parkdly openly and honestly, in close collaboration with the disc golf community.
We believe the best results come from listening, learning, and creating something that truly serves the people shaping the sport's future.
