Add Boundaries
Boundaries define rule-based areas on the course. They appear on Tee Signs and Info Boards to communicate local rules to players.
Boundaries are accessed from the bottom toolbar. Clicking the boundary icon opens a picker with all available types.
Drawing a boundary:
- Select the boundary type from the picker (e.g. Out of Bounds)
- Choose a drawing mode:
- Area — draw a closed polygon by clicking to place points around the boundary zone
- Line — draw an open line to mark a boundary edge (e.g. along a fence or road)
- Click on the Canvas to place each point
- Click Finish to complete the shape
Available Boundary types: Out of Bounds (OB), Hazard, Casual Area, Required Relief Area.
Each boundary can optionally be scoped to specific Layouts — select any point on the boundary to open its details panel and pick which layouts it should appear on. Leave the scope empty to keep the boundary visible on every layout. This is useful when a rule only applies to a specific division or seasonal setup (e.g. an OB line that only applies to the Pro layout). Per-hole visibility and restricted-side toggles are still configured per hole in the same panel.
Mandatory (Mando) works differently — it is placed directly on the Canvas and linked to a specific Hole, rather than drawn as an area or line. A mando can also optionally be scoped to one or more Layouts so it only appears when those layouts are active; leaving the scope empty shows it on every layout.
