Export and Share

Once your signages are ready, there are three sharing tools in the course toolbar on the Signage page: Share, Caddie books, and Download.

Download a single signage

Open the Download popover from the toolbar. With a Tee Sign or Info Board selected, you can export it as PDF, PNG, or JPG. The PDF sizes match the signage's shape — A-series (A4, A3…), US Letter, posters like 9 × 12 / 18 × 24, the DiscGolfPark horizontal info board (1050 × 700 mm), and more — so the file prints at its true physical size. The Download popover also has an Export Signages option for downloading multiple tee signs and info boards at once as a ZIP or combined PDF.

Add safe margin

When exporting to PDF, signage templates designed for screw-mounted frames show an Add safe margin option. Toggle it on and the design extends past the page edges in the template's background color, so the screws, frame, or other mounting hardware don't cover any content. The option appears in both the single-signage Download popover and the Export Signages dialog, and applies to every selected signage whose template supports it.

Each template knows where its mount hardware sits: Parkdly Pure, Classic, and Rise grow the bleed on all four sides; Parkdly Grand info boards anchor the design to the top edge; Parkdly Grand tee signs anchor to the bottom. The option isn't available in every template.

DiscGolfPark® holder marks

DiscGolfPark's physical sign holders mount with screws at fixed positions. The DiscGolfPark® holder marks option adds the production marks their print shop expects — a cut line and four screw hole marks — to the exported PDF. It appears in both the single-signage Download popover and the Export Signages dialog when you export to PDF and the signage maps to a holder size: an A4 vertical Tee Sign, a 520 × 400 mm landscape Tee Sign (set a Parkdly Rise tee sign to the 520 × 400 mm shape), or a 1050 × 700 mm horizontal Info Board.

The marks are true machine-readable spot colors (Cut and Drill), ready for production as-is — so this is a PDF-only option (raster formats like JPG can't carry spot channels). They sit on top of the design without moving or shrinking it, so combine the option with Add safe margin to keep your content clear of the screws.

Publish a Caddie Book

Click Caddie books in the toolbar to open the caddie books picker. A Caddie Book bundles the signages you want to share with players into a single curated page.

For each book you can:

Pick which tee signs and info boards are included
Toggle cover page, back cover, and hole notes in the PDF
Customize the cover title, subtitle, background, and colors
Publish it to a live URL that stays in sync with your course
Embed the same view on your own website via a copy-paste iframe snippet
Download the same content as a PDF for printing or offline handouts

Most courses publish one caddie book per division (MPO, FPO) or layout. Each published book gets a URL like parkdly.com/caddie-books/<token> for direct sharing.

If your project has a public page, you can also surface caddie books there under a friendlier, slug-based URL like parkdly.com/p/your-park/mpo-2026. Both URLs work — the slug version is easier to remember and better for sharing in print or social media. Slugs and listing order are managed in the project's public page settings.

To manage books across a whole project, open the project page and switch to its Caddie books tab — it lists every book in the project so you can publish, grab an embed code, or open a book's settings without going course by course.

The Share button opens the Sharing dialog, organized into three tabs:

Caddie books — every published caddie book, ready to copy or manage.
Preview link — a view-only link to the interactive course map with its primary signages. Anyone with it can see the course, but can't edit or copy it.
Copy link — lets others copy the course into their own Parkdly project (details below).

Let others copy your course

A Copy link lets anyone with the link copy the course into their own Parkdly project. When you create one, you choose what travels with copies: the course geometry always goes along, and you can toggle the satellite image, layouts, elevation data, your custom theme, your signage design, and your brand images. Use Include all to turn everything on at once — each option also shows whether your course currently has that content. You can change what a Copy link shares at any time while it's active; there's no need to remove and recreate it.

What the recipient actually keeps also depends on their plan: the copy page lists only the things your course actually has, marks anything their plan can't hold (and what they'll get in its place), and always lets the copy proceed with the rest.
